At 19 years of age, Kai will be part of the youngest full time duo in Supercars since 2007 when he teams with 21-year-old Matt Payne.
Racing Penrite Racing car #26, securing a long term deal which kicks off in 2025, is the main game promotion he was been working so hard to achieve.
Stephen Grove, Grove Group Executive Chairman said the 2025 season was a significant milestone as they continue their commitment to developing young talent, resulting in the youngest driver lineup on the grid.

Mount Gambier-born Allen won the 2023 Super2 title and was thrilled his 2024 form has resulted in the long term deal.
"It still hasn’t sunk in, but I’m sure come Round 1 next year that will all change,” Allen said. “I can’t thank Stephen and Brenton enough for the opportunity. I feel like I’m joining a team that’s really on the way up and there’s some really great personnel on the team with so much experience.
"Driving Car 26 is pretty surreal too! It’s a number that I’ve raced with since karting, so I guess it’s meant to be.”
